Bringing in the New Year

Andrea, Jamey, and I packed up and got on our flight to Orlando, Florida the day before New Years Eve. We were excited to bring 20-ten in a warm environment with each other. What's better than three hot blondes in a new city ready to raise hell like a southern belle? haha. We arrive at our first hotel downtown Orlando at 11:00pm on Wednesday and they tell us the hotel won't be ready until the next day. I couldn't believe it. We decided to get our suitcases and walk through downtown Orlando in search for a new hotel. It was quite the scene because we probably walked a mile before we reached the Crown Plaza. People were yelling out of their window and we had to wait under a dark bridge while the train was going by, it seemed like forever. When we were checking into the hotel the hostess gave us drink coupons so we took our suitcases upstairs and came back down to the bar.(Note to self: We didn't look or smell very pretty because we were traveling all day and walking with our luggage downtown in our sweatpants) Shortly after sitting down at the bar we were approached by a wedding party. They decided to give us a Jager Bomb and asked us to go with them to their rehearsal party. It was a lot of fun and not to mention...we were in a random newlyweds wedding pictures. We traveled to a bar called "23" in Orlando and had a lot of drinks! The early morning ended with the wedding photographer taking our pictures and the grooms men asking us to be their date for the NYE wedding.
THURSDAY JAN 31"Who needs a New Years Kiss anyways???" We slept all day and of course wondered, "Why the hell did we go out the night before?"It was our time to bring in the new and leave the old behind. It was our time to shine:) We started our New Year off at Rok Room with our sexy new dresses and pink tiaras. It was so much fun that we forgot to drink champagne; however, we didn't forget to drink our huge bottle of grey goose that was waiting on our table. Who needs a New Year kiss anyways? We ended up shutting down Orlando by posing on cop cars outside of "Senso". Luckily, the cops liked our accents and we didn't get arrested! The rest of the night was a blur and probably shouldn't be published on the world wide web:) For the remaining five days of the trip we visited disney, hollywood, universal, icebar, house of blues, and of course...we did it all VIP:) Orlando was amazing because we could let go of the bull shit from 2009 and start over new for 2010. It's going to be our year girls. Cheers!

*A few things on my agenda this year---Park City for the Sundance Film Festival in Jan---Rounder World Poker Tournament in Feb---Playboy Mansion in March--- and of course, Surfing in Costa Rica with Courtney. I'm continuing school this semester and managing the Heineken Market for Nashville*
P.S. Could you vote for me AFC/NFC championship favorite girl?(click on the link) Thank you!

Cheers to 2009

The past year has been intense for me. I have reached one of my long-term goals, traveled all over the country, created amazing friendships, and lost people too. I can look back at 2009 and honestly say, I LEARNED A LOT! The beginning of the year I decided I was going to graduate no matter what I had to do. I was ready to finish school and start my career. January rolled around and I enrolled in 21 hours at MTSU in order to graduate by August. You’re probably thinking I’m crazy; however, I ended up making all A’s and a few B’s. The next thing that happens is going to make you laugh because I enrolled in classes for Diagnostic Medical Sonography two weeks later and I’m currently taking classes part-time. You’re probably wondering if I’m “in love” or have a boyfriend and I don’t. Life is so mysterious because you wonder if you’re really meant for one person? I've been in a few serious relationships and they all end up the same; which is me working at 110% and the guy taking me for granted. I have learned from them though. It's a great feeling looking back at those times in my life and realizing what I want now. I will never settle again. I'll take life day by day as it's handed to me and treasure the good hearted people that surround me. (P.S. There’s a reason he/she is your ex) I have become really close to most of the spokesmodels I work with. Kim is one of them and she recently moved to Fargo, ND. It was hard watching her leave because we worked several events together and we both were both born on Oct 3. Her husband received an amazing job promotion so she stood by her man and packed everything up (even her crazy cats) and moved to “f*cking fargo”. She has become one of my best friends and I will do anything for her. COME HOME SOON KIM:) Merry Christmas to all of you..lets hope the New Year is as great as 2009. You will find me bringing in the New Year with Jamey and Andrea in Orlando, Florida. Cheers to 2010.
